Tony was superb! We went on safari in Tanzania as part of a multi-week trek that included several parks and reserves as well climbing Kilimanjaro. Tony was an excellent host and was very good at finding us sights and experiences that were exceptional yet allowed my wife and I secure and safe guiding and passage. With close to 100 countries visited I highly recommend Tony as a guide and can personally vouch for the quality of the equipment he provided and the depth of his knowledge. Five Stars!!

Awesome trip and GREAT support along the way! What a wonderful experience of a lifetime! Tanzania Exclusive Journeys OUTDID themselves. I ALWAYS felt safe and in great hands by being in touch with a professional caring group of people. The lodgings at each camp were welcoming with loving, joyful staff and ALL of our needs (if any) were attended to in haste. We lived in luxury!!!! A hot water bottle at our feet every night!!! Food was excellent! As I am a picky eater ALL of the chefs were sooo accommodating I just loved them! As for our guides and seeing beautiful Kenya landscape and wildlife.....couldn't have asked for more. We saw ALL the animals we could ever have hoped for....each guide said HOW LUCKY WE WERE and I totally agree! I would go back in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend Tanzania Exclusive Journeys to anyone!

Wonderful safari in Tanzania, Great Venues, Impeccable Service. Unforgetabble! Our trip with Tanzania Exclusive Journeys will forever be in our memories and shared with family and friends. Truly a trip of a lifetime. We started with the Kilimanjaro Trek, followed by the Highlights of Tanzania Safari and finished off with a relaxing beach stint in Zanzibar. Every portion of the trip exceeded my expectations. The beauty of Tanzania is stunning but what made the trip so outstanding was the Guides. On the Kilimanjaro Trek our head guide Martin gave us complete confidence in our safety. In my opinion, Tanzania Exclusive Journeys stood out in the camps as the best. Every porter and all of the staff were so encouraging with their smiles and attitudes every day. And the chefs provided amazing meals and accommodated special food needs. Some days it was the little things that made our day so great like at the end of a long days hike when we were tired and ready to be done, the porters came back to meet us after setting up our camp and carried our backpacks the rest of the way. I truly miss everyone of them. Just when I thought they couldn't be any better, they surprised me again with the most amazing tented camp experiences. So comfortable and beautiful and the animals were right outside our little zippered door. Listening to Wildebeests honk and snort outside my tent at night has become a cherished memory (Definitely record those sounds so you don't forget them). The staff, food, beds, showers etc. were all wonderful but I think your Guide is the key to a great safari and ours was the best. Ian was with us from our first flight to our last. He is so full of knowledge and so patient. Spending days with him was a true joy. After safari I chose Zuri resort in Zanzibar upon Tanzania Exclusive Journeys recommendation and it was a true 5 star resort! They also organized all of our travel between portions of the trip and everything went smooth right down to getting covid tests to return home. Someone was with us every step of the way. Recommend 100% At first it seemed impossible to us to identify, arrange and implement the plans and alternatives to our most-dreamed safari adventure in Tanzania with our 16 years-old daughter from our country of residence (Brazil). I had been in South Africa (Mala Mala, Kruger Park) some 20 year ago and intended to provide something uncooked and safe as birthday present to our girl. After thorough research, checks and quotations from 05 shortlisted providers, we decided in favor of Tanzania Exclusive Journeys. Could not have been happier with our choice!!! Tony was attentive and responsive at all times during the decision-making and also after we had confirmed and partially paid the safari (given the time difference between Brazil and Tanzania, I guess he has very little sleep, sounds as he works 24/7!). He was very proactive, clarified all our doubts (some of them probably not very rational, I am sure!), making suggestions and recommendations on what Reserves to visit within the available time (9 nights), and where to stay (camps and lodges). To make our Tanzania spree even more perfect, we were assigned Marc as our driver guide. He was perfectly as regards to time, flair for finding the animals in each reserva, and to tell us all about animals (habits, stats... all included). Not to mention he drives in a safe and responsible manner and is very polite and discrete. We will definitely recommend and hire Tanzania Exclusive Journeys again and we hope to do so very soon!

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE We had the pleasure of being escorted by Tanzania Exclusive Journeys during our recent trip to Tanzania. We had two different guides, and both of them were EXCELLENT! They both had very extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of all the areas we visited. They were very passionate about nature and the animals, and they were intensely focused on making sure my wife and I had the time of our life. Trip of a lifetime! Tanzania Exclusive Journeys provided the best experience possible from the very start when tailoring the itinerary with Jane through to the actual safari with a highly professional guide in Marc. As a solo traveller I had the safari to myself and loved every minute of it. The accommodation they selected was amazing both with locations and comfort. Ally was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight into history, culture, flora and fauna. Obviously the highlight being able to see the Big 5 and plenty of other animals running wild in their environment. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks for a memorable time guys.

He was the safari planner who displayed the knowledge and organization that we were seeking. We were pleased with Tony’s prompt responses, thoughtful answers to our questions and personal service. Tony listened carefully to our wishes and created an excellent itinerary. It then was our guide/driver, Ian who transformed the itinerary into something extraordinary… Ian was a superb teacher/guide/driver. He possesses amazing knowledge of all the animals, birds, trees, ecology, etc. He had an uncanny ability to spot birds and animals (while driving and talking), and we would finally see them minutes later as we drove closer. He would hear something like a monkey screaming and explain what it meant, i.e. one time he said it was the monkeys’ alarm signal, he pointed out the direction the monkeys were looking, and a few minutes later we saw the leopard. He spotted hundreds of animals and birds, gave us their names and then looked them up in his reference books to offer additional information. He “tested” us on this information on subsequent days when we would see the animals/birds again. This was a very fun way to learn and retain at least some of the knowledge he shared. At night around the dinner table in the camps, when everyone was sharing stories of their sightings for the day, ours were invariably among the most interesting. .. We had read that the guide makes the safari, and we found this to be true. We will long remember Ian and our incredible safari experience..."

Exceptional Accommodations! Amazing Guide! Wonderful Experience! There were a number of things that made our safari. First was our itinerary. Tony did a great job of mixing things up and giving us new experiences. Second was were greeted at the airport by Tanzania Exclusive Journeys staff which not only was a relief but really set the stage for the kind of attention we would receive on our entire adventure. Third was our accommodations. We stayed at seven different locations and loved every single one of them, including the staff. Fourth was our own private vehicle and guide. We were treated to such care and consideration by our guide and his knowledge of wildlife was amazing. Each morning at daybreak, we were met with a clean vehicle and a smiling guide who made us feel safe and comfortable on our entire trip.
